LMW Training & Research
Training
We provide bespoke training packages that are specifically designed to meet the needs of your staff/organisation and service-users, if required. Working predominantly across the community and education sectors, we offer training on a range of personal/professional development/wellbeing themes and are more than happy to design training packages completely from scratch too – it’s all about delivering meaningful training that’s relevant to your needs.
Training can take place in a variety of ways:
-
Hourly, half-day, whole day, breakfast and twilight (after work) sessions are all available. Training can also take place over a number of weeks / months.
-
On-site at an organisation’s premises or off-site at an agreed venue.
-
Small team / service-user and 1-2-1 training workshops can also take place at our premises in King’s Lynn.
-
Virtually - across platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet and Teams.
-
We can take the strain from you and organise your whole training event/away-day for you – the venue, catering and all the training materials.
Examples of wellbeing and engagement training themes include:
-
Everyday wellbeing strategies for staff in the workplace and beyond.
-
Public speaking.
-
Assertiveness training and setting boundaries in the workplace.
-
Conflict resolution.
-
Dealing with difficult people – work colleagues, family and parents/care-givers.
-
Coping with change in the workplace - community and educational settings.
-
Teambuilding / team wellbeing – working together, supporting each other and enhancing workplace environments.
-
Workload / planning – work/life balance (taking control – time management and organisational skills).
-
Mindfulness training for all ages.
-
Creativity for wellbeing – visual arts workshops.
-
Strategies for dealing with challenging behaviour (staff/service-users) within community and educational settings.
-
Volunteer skills and preparation for employment – promoting community engagement and raising future aspirations.
-
Project management – engagement and evaluation.
These are just popular examples. We are happy to design any wellbeing and engagement training/service from scratch to meet the specific needs of your organisation and service-users.
